After graduating in 1993 from Tunxis Community-Technical College with a certificate in Dental Assisting, I worked as both a dental assistant and front desk receptionist until 2001 when my first daughter (Brooke) was born. After taking sometime off to stay at home with my daughter, I decided to work as a temporary in various offices to make some extra money. I enjoyed meeting many new people and learning so many new procedures and techniques. With that new experience, I am able to add many more qualifications to my resume now, than after being an assistant for almost 10 years! I decided to open my own dental staffing agency because I think it is important for qualified dental professionals to experience the same great opportunties that are available to them working as a temporary. I also know that the best permanent positions out there aren't often advertised. Being a receptionist in the past, I also saw the need for a dental staffing agency whom an office could trust and rely on to send them a qualified professional when needed.
I understand that the dental field can be somewhat "stressful" if you are not working in an office that suits your personality or goals. Yet, it is a big step and often scary to leave your current job and try something new! I also feel there is a need for dental professionals to be able to work comfortably with a company that is locally owned and operated. Also, someone who can relate to them and truly cares about their needs and goals! My top priority is to get to know each team member and assist them in finding the best job for them whether it be temporary or permanent!
